Weekend Frenzy...Or Not

My three-day weekend started off well enough...

Saturday was shopping day - and not just for me!  Michaels was crowded and the lines were loooong.  As was Walmart (big surprise); but Metro wasn't bad (surprisingly).  I got all of the bits I wanted for the Secret Santa work gift (but forgot batteries again!) as well as a white cloth binder for my BOS (as well as mooning over the paper - but I resisted! ;-)

Sunday was "work on Secret Santa gift" day.  It went well...until I ran out of glue halfway through!  Once I get a refill, it won't take that much longer to finish - and I can say I'm quite proud of it! ;-)

I had plans to pick up glue on Monday...yah, that happened.  It started off with annoyance when the internet refused to work (surprise, surprise - I think we're going to go with Rogers, plus get cable back), then went downhill from there.  M had a small breakdown and (I) called into work for her.  She went back to bed and I ended up loosing myself in a couple of games ("Virtual Villagers" and "Super Granny") for the rest of the day.

Now it's Tuesday morning, and I have to go back to work this afternoon...and I feel as if I didn't accomplish anything this weekend!

On the upside, the moon was absolutely gorgeous (just in waxing - first quarter) last night when I took the dog for a walk.  The wind was cool (I had my hoodie and winter coat, and I could have worn mitts and a scarf), but it was a lovely night, especially for a walk.  It was the kind of night where you could smell that winter (and today's drizzle) was on it's way.

Blessed be,
Cam
